The (Not So) Giant Has Fallen

About time the world saw how over-rated the USC Trojans really were. The now 6-1 Trojan's luck finally ran out against the then 4-3 Oregon State Beavers. The Trojans had survived 2 weeks of nail biters by flukes, including a failed attempt by one team to snap the ball in time, and another team punting the ball with no time outs and only 1:26 left in the game on a 4th and 23. This week, the Beavers had at one point a 33-10 lead over USC, and the Trojans couldn't over come the defecit and ended their hopes at the BCS championship with a final score of 33-31.

This week gets better and better. The Cardinals won the World series, USC lost to an unranked team, I got to host another Captions Outrageous! at TRP, and now if The Vols can beat South Carolina, I'll get to see Steve Spurrier cry like a little baby. I love it!

Also, look here at GOP and College later for a recap of the political debate between Bob Corker and Harold Ford Jr. It was good one, and will be worth reading about.
