So Long San Francisco JROTC

It's official. The vote to eliminate JROTC passed for Bay City Public Schools. News agencies have picked it up, and what's worse, Pelosi neither condemns nor approves of the action. As KRON states:
San Francisco Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi, who is set to be the next Speaker of the House of Representatives, issued a statement questioning the move. Pelosi says her record of supporting the Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgendered communities is solid. Still, she worries the loss of the JROTC could. "eliminate much-needed opportunities and structure for young at-risk students from low-income and minority communities."

CBS 5 in SF shows a short video in their summary, showing a student holding a sign that states "JROTC is my anti-drug."

I think that the government should start a hasty "cut and run" out of the SF Public School's budget for this stunt.
