When Did This Happen?

Jan and Damon have always been bitter enemies in the DBD cartoon series...but now they're having a BABY together? When the heck did they start seeing each other? I've been trying to find the first cartoon where they start dating, but it seems that they kind of jumped from "I hate you," to sleeping together...Where's the middle ground Chris?
