Back On Top

The Cardinals are back at home on top of Major League Baseball. At 79-46, they are 2 games ahead of the runner up Chi-Sox, and 10 games ahead of the most expensive team in baseball, the Yankees. I'll admit last year I was disappointed at losing to the Red Sox, but when a team like that is on the roll, they can't be stopped. Hopefully the guys holding the World Series Champion Trophy, will be from the west banks of the Mighty Mississippi.

UPDATE: St. Louis was voted the best place for Major League Baseball, and 19th best overall for sports (first in 2000). Boston got the best overall picks b/c of the Patriots, Bruins, Celtics, and the Red Sox. You can find the full list of cities here. Past cities have been, Boston again, LA, New York, and Detroit. Pine Bluff, Arkansas got the award for worst sports city.
