Grassfire.org Immigration Field Hearing

Grassfire.org has organized a series of Immigration Field Hearings by the House of Representatives, and there is one coming to Middle TN on August 10th. It will be held in the Main Room of Brentwood City Hall. The address is, 5211 Maryland Way, Brentwood, TN 37027

To get there, take I-65 to the Brentwood Old Hickory Blvd exit(From the north exit A, from the south exit B). Take a left on Franklin Road, then a right on Maryland Way. Just keep going on that road until you reach the Brentwood City Hall.

These events are described as a chance for citizens to express their concerns to members of congress, so that your representatives can see how important the immigration crisis is.

Grassfire is also looking for "Key Contacts" who will receive a packet with yard signs and bumper stickers, go early to the meeting to pass out information, as well as take photographs at the event. (I would jump at the chance to do something like that but I will still be out of town at that time) If you are interested in being the Key Contact for an event in your area, please fill out this form!
