Crack Down On White Collar Crooks

L. Dennis Kozlowski, the man who used to be the CEO of Tyco International was sentenced to 25 years in the big house for stealing over $600 Million from the company. He and Mark Swartz were both found guilty of giving themselves illegal $150 million bonuses, after laying off thousands of people most likely for the reason of "not having made a large enough profit." I wonder what might have tipped off the feds, the multimillion dollar apartment, or something as pointless as a $6000 shower curtain. Seriously, and I thought paying both arms and legs for a purse from Louis Vuitton was bad. It reminds me of a scene from the movie Goodfella's where they just pulled off a huge heist and told everyone to lay low and not buy anything big. Then one idiot goes out and buys his wife a fur coat and a brand new pink luxury car. And then of course since it's a mobster movie, the guy gets whacked.

Just because execs are rich as all crap doesn't mean that they can't be forced to become "good buddies" with a 6' 8" guy named Bubba in prison.
