What's Goin on?

I'm trying to figure out why I've got so many people visiting my page looking for this image. Over the past week or so I would guess that I've had about 250 hits from people google searching it alone (click on the view image alone link). It is people all up and down the coast, and I can't figure out what's going on.

Is there something I'm missing?
